Operations and Administration

Here’s an overview of the internal workings of the security trust fund.

Operation and Administration Details

The Trust Fund operates under the Law that sets it up, while decisions are taken by the Board of Trustees, which consists of the Chairman and six members, with the Executive Secretary (ES). However, the day-to-day affairs of the Trust Fund are overseen and managed by the ES with deference to the BOT. The Head of Operations supervises the Accounts, Maintenance and Administration Units and perform other roles assigned by the ES, to whom he reports directly. The HOP liaises with service providers to ensure the smooth functioning of the Security Control and Command Room, especially the Citizens Enquiry Toll-free Line, 615. He is also in charge of the communication of the Fund’s activities.

The Accounts Unit takes charge of all financial transactions of the Fund, while the Administration Unit is responsible for all correspondence as may be charged by the ES through the Head of Operations. The Maintenance section is responsible for the upkeep of all physical assets of the Trust Fund.
